The DASH to Cure Diabetes, Inc. is an Illinois 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit organization. The Board of Directors consists of diverse and distinguished members of the running and business community, as well as members of The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Board of Directors.

Our Mission

• INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS of diabetes and its complications
• Raise RESEARCH MONEY to help cure type 1 and type 2 diabetes
• Produce PREMIER EVENTS
• PROMOTE our SPONSORS participation

Diabetes affects over 16 million Americans, 4 million children, and can strike at any time. INSULIN IS NOT A CURE! It only helps maintain diabetics' sugar levels. Without a cure, the afflicted face an ultra-strict diet, up to 8 finger pricks and 4 shots a day for the rest of their lives, poor circulation, loss of vision, kidney and heart conditions, and more.
